KEIM Quarzil-Historisch is a high quality, ready-to-use, silicate based interior coating according to VOC/C DIN 18 363 2.4.1 (silicate emulsion paint) with a special color powder combination, abrasion resistant following DIN 53 778. (KEIM Quarzil-Historisch must be sieved for airless spraying application - only on request!)

Consumption For two coats of KEIM Quarzil-Historisch on smooth substrates: Approx. 0.4 kg/m² KEIM Quarzil-Historisch with
approx. 0.05 l /m² KEIM Fixativ.
This consumption value is a guide value that varies depending on the substrate condition and application method. Exact values can only be determined by painting trial areas on the structure to be coated.

Usage KEIM Quarzil-Historisch is used on mineral substrates such as mineral renders, concrete, sandstone or calcareous sandstone. Not suitable for non-absorbent, oil or gypsum-containing substrates. Due to its unique color powder combination, KEIM Quarzil-Historisch is especially suitable for historic interior rooms in buildings such as churches, monasteries, castles and as a painting base for interior
