About This Project

The dome was coated with KEIM Royalan and the stone facade with KEIM Restauro Lasur. Project is divided into phases so the building is not finished.

Challenges White facade attracts dirt, pollution and biological growth. Water infiltration at dome.
Solutions To date the following are completed: The Capital dome, pillars and east promenade facades are complete. The dome was protected with two coats of opaque KEIM Royalan , the facade above the cornices and within the pediments are KEIM Restauro Lasur stain. The facade below cornices is natural Arkansas limestone which received a saturation coat of Restauro Dilution so the appearance would not be changed yet the limestone protected from the weather.
