About This Project

Challenges Spalling concrete, corroded steel and large surface air pockets were present, the owners and architects wanted the building to look new. Pre-cast panel manufactures were challenged by providing a uniform consistent finish of the deep colors chosen by the designers.
Solutions After the KEIM rep providing several mock-ups a color of Concretal Lasur pigmented stain was chosen for the pre-cast concrete elements. The architect chose the entire KEIM Concretal System for repairing, protection and beautification of the old concrete and added to coat the new GFRC panels of the parapet walls with KEIM Royalan Extreme Weather Mineral Silicate Finish.
